BetterShoes is one of the first webshops created by Stork Studio. Its initial version was built using Drupal 7. After the major code changes introduced with Drupal 8, we migrated the system to newer version and implemented a modern, responsive design.

In the new version, the store was slightly expanded with additional features. By using the Paragraphs module available for Drupal, we redesigned content management to give the client more flexibility in configuring and arranging page sections.

Multilingual webshop

To cater to the diverse nationalities of the customers, the store operates in three languages: Polish, Dutch, and English.

Responsive Drupal theme

After webshop migration, we implemented a modern, functional Drupal theme. Unlike the previous version, it is fully responsive, compatible with all types of mobile devices.

Payment system integration

The webshop is powered by the Commerce module, which enhances Drupal’s basic functionality with rich e-commerce solutions. For faster order processing, the Dutch online payment system, iDeal, was integrated, allowing customers to make secure payments directly through the store.
